Our Story

Kodefy wasn’t built in a boardroom. It was built in the trenches.

 

I created the initial concept for Kodefy at Harvard Business School, where I was studying in a summer program led by the late Dr. Clayton Christensen (the Father of Disruptive Innovation). The idea was for an aggregation platform to curate and codify a personalized learning experience.

 

The idea was ahead of its time, and the technology to go to market with the concept was too primitive, however the idea earned high praise from the cohort and inspired what would later become Kodefy.

I spent the next decade working in content marketing, running my own magazine as well as consulting on national marketing campaigns for major brands like Glen Sanford's Success Magazine, Grant Cardone's Cardone Enterprises and Patrick Bet David's Valuetainment.

 

While working on a strategy for Pat, I sketched out the Kodefy concept for his team. They loved it. Although they ended up going the podcast route instead (which obviously worked out just fine for them), that was when I realized the potential for the system. 

So I created a basic version using the available tools and started testing.

Eventually, I took it into some of the toughest markets in the world: New York City's IT Services market, luxury travel in The Hamptons, and even the sports arena for national champion brands like the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners.

 

Every single time, it worked.

 

And every single time, it created a pipeline that never went cold.

 

Finally I realized the same principle that applies to audience engagement applies to B2B lead generation: business leaders are drowning in content noise and CRMs sit cold.
